Sweet Evil Read Along: Week Four

This is the last week in the Sweet Evil Read Along, I had a great time, and I loved reñ-reading this awesome book. So, a big thanks to the host and co-hosters.

This week topic: Halloween

I can't say that I love Halloween cause it isn't really important in my country. But I love reading or watching what it means to other people.
I love watching scary movies, and see costumes.
I have to say that ALL MY LIFE I wanted to dress like a vampire. Always.
But that wish is bigger since I read Vampire Kisses... yeah, that was my very first book about vampires, and I just feel like Raven, wanted to sleep inside a coffin, or find that sweet and hot vampire as Alexander.
So, everytime that Halloween comes, I feel like I'll never be really happy if I never become a vampire for a day.
Some days ago I dressed up as a faery for a book contest, but it wasn't that I was really dying to win the book, it was that I NEEDED to dress like a faery! lol!
In fact, I can say, even though I don't celebrate Halloween I love see it in other people.

This week Chapters.

I re-read the last chapters of Sweet evil (again) yesterday. I loved how Kaidan is started to showing Anna a little more about his feelings. He's becoming sweet and I really loved him even more.
I still don't trust Anna's dad., but I couldn't help wondering why, he doesn't look really bad.
This last lines were awesome. It has the kind of ending I love in a book. I can't wait to read the next book!!!

Sweet Evil Read Along: Week 3

This is the 3rd week in the Sweet Evil Read Along.
I'm so happy to re-read this book, that I forgot just to read the chapter for this week, and I read it all everytime.

This week Topic: True or Dare.

I pick true, because as my friends say, Im an open book, I have no secrets, and I like my life, as boring as it is.

- I hate my middle name, it's the most horrible name on the world.
- I have a cat named after a mouse of a tv show.
- I love glam rock!!
- I had chicken pox 2 years ago, when I was 20
- I don't have any tatoo or piercing or crazy hair colors.
- My most favorite character ever is Simon Lewis from the TMI series.
- I don't have a boyfriend since 2006!!! and I'm not lesbian or super cold, I just cannot find the right one.
- I work as waitress
- I don't have any "mortal" friend. Just online friends.
- I live with my mom, my dad, my 3 brothers and sister.
- I'm an amateur writer
- When I was 17 I sang in a local band, I danced in a group and I wrote a "novel" for my school's artistic class (best year ever!)
- I love Johny Deep and Helena Carter.
- I have a Spanish book blog named Nox Invictus (I named it that way after a phrase in City of Bones by C.C.)
- I'm catholic.
- I'm truly madly deeply scared of dying.
- According to my friends I'm the poorest blogger alive! Almost all my books are are gift... they really pity me! and I don't like it, cause at least I can afford to buy kindle books, and I don't do piracy!

This week chapters.

In this part I was starting to feel sad because I knew it was almost the end of the book... well, sort of.
I loved Kai even more, and I loved the idea of Kope as a 3rd in a love triangle, I honestly liked him, but he isn't my kind. So, I was on Kai's side all the way.

I still don't trust Anna's dad! there's something about him that makes me warn Anna.
And still, she is so good, and she accepts the things he says... I have a very bad feeling!

Sweet Evil Read Along: Week two

Hallo everyone. This is week two of the Sweet Evil Along. This is hosted by Mindy @ Magical Urban Fantasy Reads, and co-hosted by Two Chicks on Books, Fiktshun,  Tater’s Tall Tails, Ravenous Reader .

This week Topic.
 Citrus or Pear recipe.

Epic fail for me! For starters, I don't like pear, so I have to pick Citrus, which I love, and then, I can't cook or something, so I don't have an amazing recipe to share with you.

But I do know how to make a Pink Honey Lemonade.

Ingredients.
1 cup water
3 fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
1/4 cup Brown Sugar Blend
1 teaspoon honey
7 cups water 1 3/4 cups fresh lemon juice
2 slices orange

In a saucepan, combine 1 cup water, strawberries, Granulated Sweetener, Brown Sugar Blend, and honey. Bring to a boil, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool to room temperature, cover, and chill. In a large pitcher, mix together water, lemon juice, and orange slices. Stir in cooled strawberry and sweetener mixture; chill. Serve in a tall glass over ice.

That's all. And it looks like this!

This week Chapters.

Yay! this is when the book gets better. I love all the road trip and knowing more about Kaidan. That was also when I really started to like Anna, not that I don't liked her at first, but her thoughts were so clean and sweet.
I love that scene of "Sence of touch" that was awesomeness!!!
And so, all the times Kaidan helps Anna to know about their world. To teach her. That was very sweet for him, even when I wasn't expecting him to be so sweet.
An then, Anna met her father... okay, that was weird for me, because for some reason, I don't trust him... still don't know why!
