This week is about the covers we wish we could redesign, and since I love the covers a lot! and I do judge a book by its cover this topic is perfect for me.
So, these are the book covers I wish I could redesign!
1. Perception by Lee Strauss:
I LOVED this book, it was one of the best books I read last year, but that cover? Nop, I would have never read the book of it wasn't because it was for a blog tour. I don't like the font, or the background, or that thing in the middle that I don't even know what the hell is!
2. Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout:
I am not fan of these models. I like Pepe, I think he's hot, but I don't like the girl, and I don't like that every cover has the same stock images of these two. If they will be the "face" of the Lux series, I think that at least the books deserve new picture, exclusive pictures of these models.
3. Crash into you by Katie McGarry (UK edition): See? I don't need to say something else!
4. Doomed by Tracy Deebs:
I loved the book! It was based on the myth of Pandora with a futuristic setting, and the cover doesn't say anything about the story.
5. The Dark Divine by Bree Despain:
I like this cover! The problem is that her legs are way to long and thin. Not that I don't like that, but I feel like it's weird.
6. The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling:
I will NEVER read this book based on the cover. I hate the colors!
7. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead:
Am I the only one that thinks this model looks like Angelina Jolie? well, however, I don't like the covers of this series!
8. Foverer by Maggie Stiefvater:
I liked the cover of Shiver and Linger, but this one looks a little... child-ish? I don't know, if that's Sam I don't like him at all!
9. Lola and the boy next door by Stephanie Perkins:
I just want the old covers back!
10. Moonglass by Jess Kirby:
I haven't read this book, it was recommended to me by some of my friends but there's something in the covers that tells me NO! ... Probably is the fact that the background looks false, like a paint, but the models are real.
