***I received this ARC in exchange of my honest review. Thank you!***

I think I have a problem with Bree Despain's first books. And is not that this book was bad, it was so good, but it wasn't as amazing as I expected, and it was too long...

The plot of this book is amazing, I loved how the author used the mythology and turned it into the world of Haden and Daphne.
Something I didn´t have clear if the world building, I don't think it was perfectly explained and I was left with some questions, that maybe I missed, or maybe I didn't have.

Anyway, my favorite part (If I can call it that) is Haden. Haden is character I want to know. I loved how he was trying to adapt the human world, I loved how he talked, I loved that he wasn´t the typical bad boy, he was cute and sometimes he was naive and so adorable.

Daphne was a great character, too. She was a strong and selfless heroine, but sometimes I find her ¨too¨smart, not that was bad, but in that moments I couldn't connect with her.
I loved that this book was unique, not a cliché. The music is a great part in the story and it helped me connect a little more with the characters.
Another thing I should say is tha The Shadow Prince doesn't have insta-love and I thank Bree Despain for that. The romance come slowly until I wanted to have more of Haden and Daphne together.

The twist and turns, the myth adaptation, a war between gods and descendants.

The Shadow Prince is a great book and I cannot wait to read what will happen next time.
I hope I love the second one as much as I loved the second book in Bree Despain's Dark Divene Series.
The story line, and the writing was fast passed and enterteining. Great and likable characters, a great plot and a adrenaline packed ending. The Shadow Prince is a book you have to read.

Pining for... The Savage Grace by Bree Despain

All the books I'm dying to read.

The first book of the Dark Divine trilogy wasn't something awesome for me. But then, a dear friend of mine gave me a copy of The Lost Saint, so I had to read it. I did, and it was fantastic!
Now I'm pining for the 3rd book. I am dying to put my hands on The Savage Grace.

A troubled soul. An impossible choice. A final battle.

Wrestling with the werewolf curse pulsing deep inside of her, Grace Divine was finally able to find her brother, but it nearly cost her everything.

With her boyfriend, Daniel, stuck in wolf form and Sirhan's death approaching, time is running out for Grace to stop Caleb Kalbi and his gang of demons. If she fails, her family and hometown will perish. Everything rests on Grace's shoulders.

The final installment in The Dark Divine trilogy brings Daniel and Grace's love story to a breathtaking conclusion.
