Cover Wars #10 Unbreakable by Elizabeth Norris.

Cover Wars is a blog segment where I present you the different covers of a same book, and my favorite one of those.

It's been a while since I had my last cover wars. Which was about all the covers for Delirium by Lauren Oliver (you can check it here). But now is just about 2 covers that take my breath away. Because both are awesome and pretty.
Yes, they're from Unbreakable by Liz Norris.

Summary

24 meets the X Files in the amazing follow up to Unravelling.

Four months after Ben disappeared through the portal to his home universe, Janelle believes she’ll never see him again. Her world is still devastated, but civilisation is slowly rebuilding, and life is finally starting to resume some kind of normality. Until Interverse agent Taylor Barclay shows up. He’s got a problem, and he needs Janelle’s help. Somebody from an alternate universe is running a human trafficking ring – kidnapping people and selling them on different Earths. And Ben, with his unique abilities, is the prime suspect. To make things worse, Janelle learns that someone she cares about – someone from her own world – has become one of the missing.

Now Janelle has five days to track down the real culprit. Five days to locate the missing people before they’re lost forever. Five days to reunite with the boy who stole her heart. Can she uncover the truth before everyone she cares about is killed?

In this heart-pounding sequel to Unravelling, author Elizabeth Norris explores the sacrifices we make to save the people we love and the worlds we’ll travel to find them.

 Cover 1.
From the US.
That cover in person is absolutely amazing! I mean it! That was the first reason why I was dying to read this book.
The font: It's great, shiny and the color is matching!
The background: It makes me think of the countdown and it has something that also says "multiverse"
The legend: "Five days, Thousands at risk. One chance to save them all"... That describes the book perfectly, and reminds me of the countdown, too.
The models: They are great. I can easily picture "Jeanelle, Ben, Cecily and Barclay."
This cover is just perfect.

Cover 2.
From the UK.
Those eyes, those eyes, those eyes... Yes, that cover has me!
The font: I think it's too simple and the color is plane. It could have been better.
The background: The background is that hot guy or the broken crystal? Anyway, it's so pretty and eye catching. I love it!
The legend: "Five days to catch a killer. Five days to find the boy she loves. But what if they're the same person...?" Jesus! I wanted to scream when I read that. Yes, yes, a perfect way to make you read the book!
The model: What can I say. I love the boy. I wasn't really happy with Ben in the middle of  Unbreakable, but picturing him as the boy on the cover... oh my, I forgot it all.
So, this cover is perfect as well.

Both covers are amazing.
I loved them.
They're eye catching.
They're perfect.
But just one captures the whole essence of the book, that's why the winner this time is.

Cover #1
The US cover of Unbreakable.
Because Cecily and Barclay were absolutely important in the book and they deserve to be there.
