Passion as hot as midnight in the South and love as wild as the horses they tame.
Camille “Cami” Hines is the darling daughter of the South’s champion thoroughbred breeder, Jack Hines. She has a pedigree that rivals some of her father’s best horses. Other than feeling a little suffocated at times, Cami thought she was pretty happy with her boyfriend, her life and her future.
But that was before she met Patrick Henley.
“Trick” blurs the lines between what Cami wants and what is expected of her. He’s considered the “help,” which is forbidden fruit as far as her father is concerned, not to mention that Trick would be fired if he ever laid a hand on her. And Trick needs his job. Desperately. His family depends on him.
The heart wants what the heart wants, though, and Trick and Cami are drawn to each other despite the obstacles. At least the ones they know of.
When Trick stumbles upon a note from his father, it triggers a series of revelations that could ruin what he and Cami have worked so hard to overcome. It turns out there’s more to Trick’s presence at the ranch than either of them knew, secrets that could tear them apart.

My POV.

My feelings.
OMG! I love these new contemporary books; they’re so mature, so sweet and at the same time so hot and deep.
I never thought I could like a book with horses in it. In fact, I was reluctant to read it. But since the first lines, I enjoyed this book so much.

The Plot.
High five for this plot. I know in some reviews this is compared to Romeo and Juliet, in a little way it was something like that, with all the forbidden love and so.

The characters.
Cami: I loved her. She is strong and sweet… yuck! I think this is the 200th time I say this about a fame character. But she was, and her love for horses makes her a little wild. Great mix!
Trick: Smoking hot boy alert! Gah! It makes me think of that song “I’m a cowboy…”  Damn it, I’m blabbing… I just loved that man. Like, loved it, loved it!
I also liked all secondary characters they were really good.

The love story.
Amazing. Though it was kind of love at first sight, not that it was bad, I loved the flirting scenes. I liked the hotness between them… man, I never thought I could say this. I not use to read +18 books, but The wild ones worth it, it wasn’t all about sex, there were those deep feelings in the air that made me shiver.

The ending.
Expected for me… perfect for me. Not much to say about it, just that you’ll love it.

Final thoughts.
And if you think I already say all that I have to say, nah, you’re wrong. The wild ones wasn’t just great characters, a good plot, a sexy love story. I was also about well played drama and juicy secrets.  Ha, so silly to say that. I loved it, that’s all.
