TBR Intervention Challenge (41)

The goal of this challenge is to help each other (fellow readers and bloggers) manage our enormous and constantly growing TBR (To-Be-Read) List. The rules are simple and everyone is encouraged to participate. It does not force you to commit to more than what you can manage to read in a week or so, but participants are encouraged to read at least one book within a week. You are free to choose the book you want to read and commit to this challenge. You may post your entry every Saturday, at the frequency of your choice--EVERY WEEK or EVERY TWO WEEKS. However, we will sponsor this event regularly every Saturday.

Rules.
1. Post the book(s) you committed to read in your last TBR Intervention post and tell us something about it. Did you finish it? Did you enjoy it or not? Post the link to your review (if you have one).
2. Post a book that you want to read and already own. Pick something that has been sitting on your shelf for too long now (6 months or longer). Commit to read the book in the next couple of days or week.
3. Grab the TBR Intervention Button and post it on your blog sidebar so you will be constantly reminded of the challenge, making it easier for you to commit. This will also encourage other readers/bloggers/visitors to join the challenge.
4. Add the link to your post in the Linky below and make sure to visit the other blogs. Comment, encourage, and spread the love to our fellow readers.

Last week TBRIC.
Finally!!!!
Hurra!!!
Bravo!!!
I finally finished this book, and it was just because I didn't have internet, so I just read, and read, and read. It was funny coz I read it in two days, after all of the time. And it was good!

Now, for the first time in a long time, I can say my week was good. I also read Nevermore by Kelly Creag, and it was more than awesome! It's now one of my favorite books of this year.
And I'm almost finishing Illumine by Alivia Anders. I'm very surprised because this book is really good. Can't wait for the ending!
The bad part comes with my mistake. All my friends recommended The Vincent Boys, so, I really wanted to read it book. And I did, the problem was that when I was 30% I realized I wasn't reading The Vincent Boys... I was reading The Vincent Brothers! (Book #2). Now, I don't know what to do!
This week TBRIC.
&
I was looking on my TBR List, and I just saw I have a LOT of ARCs! One of those is Gitch, so maybe this is time to read, the same with Dearly, Beloved. So, I want to read Dearly Departed.
And I hope I have time to read another book.

Hope you all have a nice week. See you soon!

  1. Bravo! Congratulations on finishing your books! I do agree that having no internet does get you to read, read, read. Although, I do get restless if I don't go online for 3 days. Ah, this digital age.

Good luck on this week's TBRIC books.

  2. Well congratulations for finishing your books! I'm glad that you loved Nevermore! It's on my TBR list. I heard good things about it, and I'm thrilled that you loved it beyond awesome :)

Sucks. The Vincent Boys is really good. Honestly, I didn't finish The Vincent Brothers, though lots of our Starbooks friends loved it more than The Vincent Boys. I love Beau and Ashton. And Sawyer is really waaaay too different in The Vincent Brothers. He's not the same Sawyer I met in the first book, I used to like him. I'm not sure when I can finish The Vincent Brothers, but as of now, I'm really not interested anymore. Both Lana and Sawyer changes BIG TIME and it feels like they're doing it because they are both looking for something or someone they can't have before. Anyway, pardon my blabbing :P But I'm glad that you had a great week. Good luck with the books you picked! :)
