Top Ten Tuesday: Characters Who Remind Me Of Myself

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosteb by The Broke and the Bookish.

1. Lola Nolan from Lola and the boy next door.
You can think Lola is weird and crazy. But I really feel I can understand her. Sometimes I do the things she does. I don't know exactly how to say why she reminds me of myself, but she does.

2. Raven Madisson from Vampire Kisses.
She is another character that reminds me of myself, not just because she loves vampires, but she is really funny, kind like me. And both of us love the dark and gothic things... and well, we love Alexander Sterling as well.

3. Katy from Obsidian
Katy is a book blogger, she loves books, she likes to talk about books. There isn't anything else to say why she reminds me of myself.
In fact, she reminds me of all my blogger friends.

4. Simon Lewis from The Mortal Instruments.
A boy? weird, right?
But, yeah! Simon is like me. There are a few good things we share, and that is that we are really good and loyal friends. You can see it, Simon can do everything for Clary, the way I can do everything for my friends.

5. Mara Dyer from The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer.
Mara Dyer is a nerd, remember? Well, I am, too.

6. Clary Fray from The Mortal Intruments.
She doesn't reminds me of myself because I'm an artist or something like that. Clary loves manga, just like me!! She and Simon are otaku, and I was otaku since I was 11.

7. Augustus Waters from The Fault In Our Stars.
Augustus is one of the best characters I've ever met. And I have the luck of sharing one of his atributes: the positive mind. Even though all the bad things that happened to him, he always was thinking in the good side of those things. I use to act that way most of the time.

8. Sabine from Soul Screamers.
This is really bad because we share this thing: we feel lonely all of the time.

9. Ever from Evermore.
I can't just talk about the character with good qualities cuz there are some of them that made mistakes like me. So, this is Ever, and I have her same problem with the insecurities.

10. Clara from El bosque de los corazones dormidos (The forest of sleeping hearts)
She is a shy girl that decided to go live in the forest, alone, separate from the world. Maybe you don't know but lately, I'm a lonely person, if it wasn't for the internet, maybe I could talk with anything else.

  1. I like your idea of talking about yourself via some fictional characters.

I totally had a female character on my list who reminded me of a male...no I don't think it's weird. :) Great list!

  3. I thought about Ever from Evermore too. Although she kind of drove me crazy.

  4. Hmm.. this is interesting.
I would have a really tough time trying to find a character that reminds me of myself. I usually like strong, sarcastic, funny characters and even though I wish I were like that, I don't think I am that much.
Nice list, I like how you picked one quality from them even when it wasn't something obvious... and don't worry, even though I didn't like Lola at all, you still remain a great book friend, LOL!
