Book Review: The Immortal Rules

Title: The Immortal Rules
Author: Julie Kagawa
Pages: 485
Goodreads AVG Rating: 4.33
Provided by Net Galley
Summary: In a future world, Vampires reign. Humans are blood cattle. And one girl will search for the key to save humanity.
Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a vampire city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten.

Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of them. The vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself is attacked—and given the ultimate choice. Die… or become one of the monsters.

My thoughts.

If you were thinking Julie did a great job with faeries.. you should know what she made with vampires.
I had the huge luck to have a copy of this book and one minute after I download it, I started with my reading!
I´m so glad to say I loved the book, though I think the first chapters were a little slow. BUT after the second part I fell for it!
I use to have this feeling in all Julie´s books. It was the same while reading The iron king. It was kind of 4 stars, where the sequels were fully 5 stars.. or more if it can be possible.
The author created a sad and destroyed world where vampires are the evil and humans have noon oportunity to scape and try for a good life.
I love the idea of betrayals and the kind of relationship between Unregistereds because it´s truly realistic. And more than anything I love Alli, this strong and powerful character. The girl with a katana.
So, my little bro asked me "What are you reading Lis?
And I aswered "A book where a agirl has a katana"
Seriously???
Well, that´s Allison Sekemoto. The most strong female character I have read for a while.  And if I have to say something more. That is that I love all of the characters in this book. They are so diferent, they live hidden but with a strong passion for life.
The writing is fast and never boring!
I don´t know if this is cause of my freaky love for manga, but this book is -for me- strong, poweful, with great potential to become even in something better.
THIS IS A MUST READ BOOK.
And Oh man! that ending!!!
Plus, add it the first chapter of the next Iron Fey book The lost Prince... Now, die with me!
*Scream and happy dance*  :)
