My book boyfriend (1) Magnus

My book boyfriend this week is the sexy vampire Magnus from Boys that bite by author Mari Mancusi, so, let me tell you why.


I quickly take stock: smooth skin, high
cheekbones, sooty black eyelashes. Long brown hair, pulled back in a ponytail. I'm not normally into the
long hair thing, but on this guy it totally works. He looks like a blue-eyed Orlando Bloom.(Pirates
of
the Caribbean Orlando, not LOTR and certainly not Troy, just FYI.) Best of all, unlike the other
Gothed-out club kids, he isn't wearing a stitch of black. Just a simple tight white T-shirt and a pair of
low-rise jeans. No eyeliner either, thank goodness.

He grins, ruefully. "Well, it all started about a thousand years ago. When I served as one of

King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table."...

"Accidentally
biting you was the best mistake I've ever made in my life."....

"Are you kidding?" he asks. "Vampire or human or, hell, if you decide one day you're going to become a
werewolf or elf, I'm not letting you go."...

He's way too funny

He looks up. "I'm trying to remove all traces of your blood from my mouth. You weren't tested first.
Who knows what kind of diseases you could be carrying?" he says, a horrified look washing over his
face. "You don't have AIDS, do you?"


"Didn't I tell you?" Suddenly Magnus opens his eyes, sits up, and starts laughing hysterically. "I'm already
dead!"




He says the words a boy has to say.

"I want you to know that I
won't abandon you. I won't leave you to fend for yourself. If you have to stay a vampire, I promise you
now, I will be your blood mate in every sense of the word. As long as you want me or need me, I will
keep you safe. You don't have to be afraid. I will never leave you."



My Magnus is Orlando Bloom (if you don't know), I can't help, but since Sunny says the vampire looks like the actor I just can picture Magnus as him.
