Happy New Year! Let's celebrate with a Giveaway!

2015 has been a crazy year. I think everyone of us had ups and downs, but the greatest thing is that WE ARE ALIVE. Or that’s what I like to think. I’ve been blogging less than last year, but I still love this blog so much, even though sometimes I feel like a robot because I “say” too little in my posts. (In case you don’t know that’s because English is not my mother language and I learned it by myself, so I still feel doubts every time I write something).

So, this is how this year has been to me:
-I read fewer books because: I don’t like to say this, but the reality is that I live in one of the most violent countries of the world. And this year someone very close to me was murdered. It was a shock and it did a mess with my mental health. But books helped me to get through this.

-I was studying like crazy to be accepted in the university I wanted (spoiler alert: I wasn't)

-I started losing sight. OMG! Mom always said this day would come, (believe it or not, carrots are miraculous!)

-I've been learning how to write a book, well, reading about creative writing (but don't worry, I only write in Spanish)

My favorite books of 2015
I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. I loved this book so much!

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Finch... *sigh*

The Winner's Crime by Marie Rutkoski... All the feels!!

My most anticipated books of 2016.
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater. If Gansey dies I will die.

The Winner's Kiss by Marie Rutkoski. If Krestel and Arin don’t find their happy ending I will die.

Lady Midnight by Cassie Clare. If I don’t see old-Simon Lewis I will die.

Books I didn't read this year, but that I am dying to read.
 An Ember In The Ashes.

Six of Crows.

Queen of Shadows.

Winter.

Blogs I read every day (or at least every time I got an email through my subscription)
Reading After Midnight. I miss you, Ari.

Fiktshun. The best challenges are always here.

In Love With Handmade. Pili’s so cool! I want to stalk her.

YA Romantics. I love Jen’s reviews!

I think that's all there is.
Now, because you were too cool to stop by, you can win a book of your choice up to $20. INT as long as TBD ships to you.
Winner has 24 hours to reply after I contact her/him.
NOTE: If you don’t win, come back next month, since I started this year as a planner, I’ve planned a giveaway for every month.

I wish you have the of best of the years! Happy reading!

  4. You've had such an up-and-down year, Lis! Do NOT lose hope because of the valleys - I don't know the situations, but I do know that in terms of the university and apps, you'll end up exactly where you'll belong and fit and love. :) Best of luck with all things life and bloggy, Lis! *hugs*
