Sentinel Blog Tour: Pure Day & 5 Things I asked JLA.

Hello!
Welcome to my stop in the Sentinel Blog Tour by the awesome Jennifer L. Armentrout!
To see the full schedule and stop by the other blogs, just click go to Stuck In Books.

Today is Pure day! and I so honored to feature this book because this was Seth's book (sorry, still, after all I am Team Seth, though I really love Aiden), and Pure was a great birthday present from my friend Angela @ Reading Angels... and to be fairly honest, Pure is my favorite book of the series!

There is need. And then there is Fate.
Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.
When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon--and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude--or killing her.
When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

1. As an author, I think you put a lot of your own feelings in the lines you’re writing. How do you feel when you’re creating those wonderful stories?
You become very attached to the story and characters, and in a way,  they are real to you. So a lot of feelings are invested. I hope people get 'feels' when they read a novel of mine. I try to think of how I would feel in the situation, etc.

2. Do you write with a playlist?
I think I'm the only author who doesn't keep a playlist

3. I am a freaky, obsessive, perfectionist, cover lover. And I really LOVE all the covers of your book, but specially The Covenants’ ones. Do you think they match with the story?
Yes! The covers are so unique and standout. The publisher did a great job with, especially since the flowers do come up in the books.

4. I f you could put 2 of your characters in a scene with other 2 character from another book, which those characters could be?
Alex from Covenant Series and Daemon from the Lux Series in a training room on Deity Island. THAT should be interesting.

5. You are now one of the most popular authors in the blog-o-sphere, because of your great books. Why would you recommend them? (not as an author, but as a reader).
Aw thanks! To be honest, I'm terrible at telling people why they should read my books. I guess I'd recommend them because they're pure brain candy--romance, action, mystery, romance... See? I suck at this.

# 1 New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Jennifer L. Armentrout Lives in West Virginia.
All the rumors you heard about her state aren’t true.
Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time, reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write.
She is the author of the Covenant Series (Spencer Hill Press), the Lux Series (Entangled Teen), Don't Look Back (Disney/Hyperion) and a yet untitled novel (Disney/Hyperion), and new YA paranormal series with Harlequin Teen.
Jennifer also writes New Adult and Adult romance under the pen name J. Lynn. The Gamble Brothers Series (Tempting the Best Man/Tempting the Player) and Wait for You. Under her pen name, she is published with Entangled Brazen and HarperCollins.
Find her: Website/ Twitter/ Facebook/ Goodreads.

Spencer Hill Press is giving away a $200 gift card to Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Book Depository or any indie bookstore of the winner's choice to not only stock up on amazing books, but to perhaps buy a Nook HD or Kindle Fire.

  1. I think Pure might be my favorite Covenant book. Of course that light change when I read Sentinel. :)
