Summary:
Four months after Ben disappeared through the portal to his home universe, Janelle believes she’ll never see him again. Her world is still devastated, but life is finally starting to resume some kind of normalcy. Until Interverse Agent Taylor Barclay shows up. Somebody from an alternate universe is running a human trafficking ring, kidnapping people and selling them on different Earths—and Ben is the prime suspect. Now his family has been imprisoned and will be executed if Ben doesn’t turn himself over within five days.
And when Janelle learns that someone she cares about—someone from her own world—has become one of the missing, she knows that she has to help Barclay, regardless of the danger. Now Janelle has five days to track down the real culprit. Five days to locate the missing people before they’re lost forever. Five days to reunite with the boy who stole her heart. But as the clues begin to add up, Janelle realizes that she’s in way over her head—and that she may not have known Ben as well as she thought. Can she uncover the truth before everyone she cares about is killed?

Note: First of all, my huge THANK YOU to Wiley from Author on the web for the chance to read an ARC of this book.
This review is based on the ARC and the finished copy that I own.

Unbreakable is nothing but a never ending pack of action.
Elizabeth Norris did it again. Readers of action, suspense, sci/fic and strong characters will enjoy UNBREAKABLE since the first page to the last. The universe created by this author is complete, brilliant and breathtaking. A must read.

The main characters:
Janelle: She is with no doubts, the stronger girl I’ve ever met. Sure, I said that about someone before, but that was BEFORE I read Unbreakable, now I can’t keep my word anymore. Janelle is a true HEROINE. She sacrifices everything to save the people she doesn’t even know. Loyal, selfless and kind.
Barclay: Yes, there is a reason why Barclay comes after Janelle. There was a time when I thought that the boy next to Janelle in the cover was him, because he makes the book better. He is the reason why the plot was that great.
Ben: Even though he was in the book until the middle of the story, Ben also made a wonderful job. This is not the same boy from Unraveling, that one was a little lovelier, this Ben represents the mistakes that every person does in the life. What happened with him was realistic, and maybe a bit disappointing, but the author redeems him, and in the end we finally have the Ben we met and loved.
Cecily: She’s so sweet, so good, and brave. We happen to meet her better and it was a good thing to have her supporting Janelle, she deserves her place in this story.

The plot.
What I loved the most about UNBREAKABLE was the unexpected twists and turns. I was completely trapped in a world where everything is possible, where people can look like you but isn’t really you.
The writing was addicting, confident, brilliant and strong. I don’t think there was a second where I didn’t want to read what will happen next. Plus, the mystery, the anxiety in every scene and the need to discover the secrets will leave you on the edge of your seat.
The adrenaline won’t let you put it down.

The romance.
The fact that this wasn’t a love triangle made the romance special and real. But, wait… you’ll be surprised about something that you never expected. Still this isn’t a love triangle… oh my, but the feelings…
Ben and Janelle are a great couple, I love the way she could do everything for him and all the way around.

The ending.
It was simply PERFECT. It is one of a few ending so complete that answers all the questions and gives you even more than the things you asked.
I absolutely loved this book, devoured every line, every page, every chapter. There no way in hell I could give it less than 5 stars. To be honest I’d love to have a 10 stars rating so this could be an 11 stars.

“And right now, it’s possible that this moment is the one that says there’s no turning back –the one that changes everything forever… Because I know exactly what I’m fighting for.”
