My thoughts about: Tempestuous by Lesley Livingston

Title: Tempestuous
Series: Wondrous Strange #3
Author: Lesley Livingston
Pages: 376
"I don't love Sonny Flannery."
That's the lie Kelley Winslow told to protect the boy she loves from a power he doesn't know he possesses. Devastated, Sonny retreats to a haven for Lost Fae that's hidden deep underneath New York City.
But Kelley's not about to let things end in heartbreak. To get Sonny back, she's got to find out who's after his magick—and how to use her own. She's got to uncover who's recruiting Janus Guards to murderously hunt innocent Faerie. She's got to help rebuild the shattered theater company she called family. And she's got to do it all without getting dangerously distracted by the Fennrys Wolf, whose legendary heart of stone seems to melt whenever he's around Kelley.
The intrigue and romance that began with Wondrous Strange and Darklight come to a stormy head in Tempestuous, the breathtaking conclusion to Lesley Livingston's ravishing urban Faerie trilogy.

My thoughts

So, I'm finally saying goodbye to my favorite series. I have this bad habit of being afraid of endings. Because if I love a series so much, I can re-read the first books a lot of times, but I can't never-ever re-read an ending. I just CAN'T.
So, when I knew it was the time to read Tempestuous, I read once again Darklight (yes, I didn't have with me the copy of Wondrous strange).
I read the Spanish edition of the book, and once again I was thrilled with the cover-art and how beautiful it looked in my hands (that's why I'm using the Spanish cover). But most important. I was thrilled to remember that horrible words that Kelley said to Sunny... WHY???

The begining of the book was a little slow for me. I was really mad with the "I don't love Sonny thing" So, I wanted something to help me forget it! And after a few pages, I had it!
Thank you God for Puck, Sonny, and Fenn!!!
My favorite part of Tempestuous was, of course, the characters. I loved them even more than in the previous books. Kelley is so strong, so brave. She's the kind of heroine I love to meet.
Sonny... okay, he's in a love depression, but he is as awesome as always. That's why I LOVED LIKE A CRAZY the romantic moments he had in the story.

The action was epic, I loved the author's descriptions and the way she keeps mixing the fantasy, the modern with the Shakespeare interpretation.
Finally all the questions are solved and we know who's who. The traitor, the loyals, the ones that are always by Kelley's side.
It was a wonderful ending. Not the kind of ending that I expected (oh dude! I was expected less than this awesome thing!).

Seriously, Wondrous strange is an amazing series, full of magic, action, romance and characters that steal you heart.
Tempestuous is the ending we -readers- deserve.
