Welcome to the celebration of my favorite books of this year.

Each day, I will be featuring my favorite book and author of each month. And at the end of this celebration you'll have the chance to win a hardback copy of a book by one of my favorite authors.

 

Even though Shine was published on May, I didn't want to read it, until I get my paperback copy (I read Shade and Shift in e-book). So, on September my awesome friend April sent me THIS book. Shine!

I was reluctant to read it, because Logan wasn't there anymore. But, hey! It's Jery! and this is one of my favorite trilogies. It would be stupid not to give it a try. 

I did.

And I loved it!

 

Award-winning author Jeri Smith-Ready has been writing fiction since the night she had her first double espresso. She holds a master's degree in environmental policy and lives in Maryland with her husband, cat, and the world's goofiest greyhound.
