Book Review: Eve by Anna Carey

Eve (Eve #1)
Author: Anna Carey
Pages: 336
Goodreads AVG Rating: 3.72
Summary: Add to Goodreads.
The year is 2032, sixteen years after a deadly virus—and the vaccine intended to protect against it—wiped out most of the earth’s population. The night before eighteen-year-old Eve’s graduation from her all-girls school she discovers what really happens to new graduates, and the horrifying fate that awaits her.
Fleeing the only home she’s ever known, Eve sets off on a long, treacherous journey, searching for a place she can survive. Along the way she encounters Caleb, a rough, rebellious boy living in the wild. Separated from men her whole life, Eve has been taught to fear them, but Caleb slowly wins her trust...and her heart. He promises to protect her, but when soldiers begin hunting them, Eve must choose between true love and her life.

My POV.

The first time I saw the cover of Eve I knew I had to read this book, because I loved the cover and the summary, and because it was a dystopian book.
The first chapters weren’t something I expected. But it has the order and all the things I love to read in a book like this.

Eve was a smart girl, full of dreams and expectations. So, it was really exiting when she discovered all the things happening in the place she lived. The fall was hard, but it helps her to become stronger, it made the plot a lot better.

I read this book in one day, which was pretty cool, because almost always it takes me like 3 days to read a book even if it was awesome. What happened this time was that Eve made me feel tired, but not in a bad way, it was like I came with her during all the travel, it made me feel like I was living her adventures. So, I wanted to know what will happen to us.
In case you haven’t read this, I’m not going to say much about the plot, I want you to live the experience of Eve. I want you to discover what I’m talking about.

The only part I didn’t like… well, I liked it, but not a bunch was when Eve met Caleb… well, he wasn’t my kind of boy, that’s all!
But hey! The idea of girls being scared of boys was awesome!!!
I really wanted to know what will happen when Eve has contact with boys. And it was so good!

I liked all the characters. They were real and well created.
I liked the plot and the sceneries.
I liked the development of the action.
In fact, I liked everything about this book.
So good!

If you still haven’t read it, you have to give it a try.
