My never-ending booknotes: Retrum by Francesc Miralles

My Never-ending Booknotes is a weekly meme hosted by April @ Books 4 Juliet  where we can share our favorites quotes or conversation from a book.
If you want to join, just go HERE and have fun.

This week, two of my favorites quotes from the RETRUM when we were dead by Spanish Author Francesc Miralles.
This book is gothic and dark, awesome! You know, the main characters traveled around the world just to see cementeries and stay near the dead. So, check this out!

"Death is the end of all anguish, the most peaceful sleep, eternal rest. Anyone who has enjoyed must be removed from life as a guest satisfied, those who have suffered, must gladly receive what comes to cut the thread of his misadventures"

"Living is a constant risk. Only the dead are safe, you know. Forever"
