Summary/ Add here
Dori Seward can’t wait to get out of Eastcove, a sleepy fishing village on the border of New Brunswick and Maine. She bides her time by hanging out with friends, attending swim club, and holding her biggest competition, Colby–who wants more than just friendship, at arm’s length.
Then Tor Riley comes to town and he has everything Dori dreams of in a boyfriend–looks, athleticism and mystery.
But Tor also has a tantalizing secret and Dori is determined to find out what it is. The truth is crazier than her wildest imaginations and more dangerous, too. Dori has new enemies, and they will do anything to get to her.
Her life, her dreams and her love for Tor are all weighing in the balance. Will Dori risk it all in order to have it all?

My POV.

To start with this review I must confess that Seaweed has been the first book about mermaids that I’ve ever read. And I have to say that I’m really pleased and happy. It did not disappoint!
The beginning of this book was so rocker! I never expected it to start that way. I got trapped.
After that, the idea, the characters, all was measured all was good.
I have to mention, also, that when I start reading it, was the afternoon after I watched the movie “Aquamarine” I was really into mermaid things! It was quite fun and incredible!
Some time ago, I used to hear the word “summer read”. Well, Seaweed is a summer read. I’m sure you can enjoy every line just sitting in the grass, watching the sky, on a hammock, even in your garden. I can assure you a pleasant time.

The characters: I’m not going to lie. I’ll admit that Tor was my very favorite of all of them. He was mysterious? Yeah! But also he was funny and sweet. I can’t stop picturing myself going to the beach and meet him someday! That was Tor made me feel.
Dori was a great and strong character. She reminds of all those swimmers I really like. Indeed, she reminds me of a lot of my favorite characters. But… the crazy part: I don’t like her name (even though I know it was cause of the movie) hands up! That’s me “the crazy girl that critics names and covers!”

The plot:
It was good and unexpected. I know it couldn’t be expected for a lot of people, but I’m new in this sea-world. I didn’t know things like that could happen.

The writing:
It was awesome! It was fresh and easy to understand (and I mean, I have read some books that leave in the moon!).
Elle’s writing is captivating and beautiful. I found myself really excited every time I started a new page.

In fact, I tell you not to miss the book. If you like mermaids, please, give it a try.  You will be caught in a fantastic, dangerous and wonderful world… down there, aye! In the water
I’ll never see the sea the same way again!
