My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century Blog Tour & Giveaway

Hi reader! Welcome to my stop in the Blog Tour for the book My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century by Rachel Harris. And all my thanks to Shane @ Itching for books for hosting it!

My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century (My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century 1)
Author: Rachel Harris
Goodreads Rating: 4.51
Source: eARC provided for review
On the precipice of her sixteenth birthday, the last thing lone wolf Cat Crawford wants is an extravagant gala thrown by her bubbly stepmother and well-meaning father. So even though Cat knows the family’s trip to Florence, Italy, is a peace offering, she embraces the magical city and all it offers. But when her curiosity leads her to an unusual gypsy tent, she exits . . . right into Renaissance Firenze.
Thrust into the sixteenth century armed with only a backpack full of contraband future items, Cat joins up with her ancestors, the sweet Alessandra and protective Cipriano, and soon falls for the gorgeous aspiring artist Lorenzo. But when the much-older Niccolo starts sniffing around, Cat realizes that an unwanted birthday party is nothing compared to an unwanted suitor full of creeptastic amore
Can she find her way back to modern times before her Italian adventure turns into an Italian forever?

And so, I think is fair to start with this. I'm not a reader of hostorial fiction or something like that. I try to stay as far as possible of book like those. So, I didn't know what to think about My super sweet sixteenth century... specially, because when I feel that way, I use to read a lot of reviews... just to make sure.
I’m so glad to say that Rachel Harris got me trapped in her claws (mwahaha) and I couldn’t help it but fell for her writing and awesome characters.

I have to say that I’m not a really great fan of romances (yeah, I’m a little boy-ish and I prefer the action, huh!) But honestly, this romance was sweet but not-too-sweet, I mean, it was perfect. Cat is not a silly rich girl; she was funny and really real and smart.

Not to mention the awesome (and hot) Lorenzo… jezz! I hate it, but I must confess that I DON’T like his name BECAUSE I live in a town called St. Lorenzo… hehe, see? And yeah, I’m that kind of silly girl.
Except this little thing it wasn’t any other thing I didn’t like about him. He is the boy you wish you could find in your future time travel. And he is an artist!!!! An artist, people!
Uh, yeah, maybe I’m the only one excited about that fact. But anyway, Lorenzo is sweet, smart, incredibly charming and HOT.

The secondary characters are awesome as well. I feel a lot intrigued about what could happen to them in the future. I needed to know more about them... but I don't really want to say what... sorry, but you must to read it.

Okay, to put an end. This book was fresh, funny, lovely and something new. Maybe you were recluctant to read about books set in a historical period, but My super sweet sixteenth century is not the usual, I;m sure you'll enjoy every page, every conversation and scenario, just the way I did.
Please, give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

About the Author.

As a teen, Rachel Harris threw raging parties that shook her parents’ walls and created embarrassing fodder for future YA novels.
As an adult, she reads and writes obsessively, rehashes said embarrassing fodder, and dreams up characters who become her own grown up version of imaginary friends. When she's not typing furiously or flipping pages in an enthralling romance, you can find her homeschooling her two beautiful princesses, hanging out with her amazing husband, or taking a hot bubble bath…next to a pile of chocolate.
MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEENTH CENTURY is her debut novel.  She did have her own fantabulous Sweet Sixteen in high school. Sadly, it wasn't televised.
Visit her on her Site / Twitter / Facebook.

And now the giveaway!
One (1) Lucly winner will have the chance to win a Finished copy of My super sweet sixteenth century and signed bookmarks (US)
And a INT reader will have the chance to win Character Trading Cards, Necklace & Tattoos
