- TBRIC is hosted by April@ Books4Juliet Dani@ Refracted light, and Ayanami@ Whatever you can still betray
The goal of this challenge is to help each other (fellow readers and
bloggers) manage our enormous and constantly growing TBR (To-Be-Read)
List. The rules are simple and everyone is encouraged to participate. It
does not force you to commit to more than what you can manage to read
in a week or so, but participants are encouraged to read at least one
book within a week. You are free to choose the book you want to read and
commit to this challenge. You may post your entry every Saturday, at
the frequency of your choice--EVERY WEEK or EVERY TWO WEEKS. However, we
will sponsor this event regularly every Saturday.
Rules.
1.
Post the book(s) you committed to read in your last TBR Intervention
post and tell us something about it. Did you finish it? Did you enjoy it
or not? Post the link to your review (if you have one).
2.
Post a book that you want to read and already own. Pick something that
has been sitting on your shelf for too long now (6 months or longer).
Commit to read the book in the next couple of days or week.
3.
Grab the TBR Intervention Button and post it on your blog sidebar so
you will be constantly reminded of the challenge, making it easier for
you to commit. This will also encourage other readers/bloggers/visitors
to join the challenge.
4.
Add the link to your post in the Linky below and make sure to visit the
other blogs. Comment, encourage, and spread the love to our fellow
readers.Last week TBRIC.
Last week I committed to read or better say finish Before I fall by Lauren Oliver... and I finally did it! I kind of hated Lauren Oliver- again! I couldn´t stop crying, I loved this one, too!
This has been an ugly week. No internet feels like... empty, lol. By the way, the only good part of no having internet is that I had a little more time to read. And this week I also finished The Immortal Rules (I love it!!) and Pure, the second Covenant novel (yay! I love it, too!)
Finally, more than one book per week!
The book I´m commiting to read.
Difficult pick this time. But I wanted to read Cinder since... a long time ago. And now I finally get an e'copy of this one, and I can´t wait to read it.
I´ve heard so many good things about it. Hope I can read it on time, lol!
Add this book HERE on Goodreads.
Have a nice weekend girls!!!
I loved Before I Fall. My heart aches a little every time I think of the storyline. And I heard recently that they're making it into a movie!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you like Cinder! I read it earlier this year, and really, really enjoyed it!
If you'd like to stop by my blog, here's my TBR Intervention post: http://writergrrlreads.blogspot.ca/2012/04/tbr-intervention-2.html
Yeah! I've heard about the movie, too!
ReplyDeleteIt will be really amazing!
Glad you liked Immortal Rules and hate a love/hate relationship going on with Before I Fall. Loved Immortal Rules too, haven't read Before I Fall though. Cinder looks like such and awesome book. I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of it. I adore the cover on it and that's probably why I'm so interested in reading it too, even though I haven't yet.
ReplyDeleteUgh... no internet. I would go crazy, but it'd probably be very good for me too. lol
ReplyDeleteAnd you got THREE books read! And all ones you loved! That's awesome and makes the week feel even more like a win, I'm sure :)
Best of luck with Cinder. I LOVE that book, so I'ms super curious to see what you think! :)
Lis! I want to read Before I Fall too, same with Cinder. But I don't have a copy of Cinder so I need to wait for a little more time... anyway, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Good luck with Cinder! And you mentioned on my blog that you read PURE too? That's awesome! How's Aiden? You love Seth I know... I love him too, but I'm Aiden all the way ;)
ReplyDeleteLovelots!!!
I'm team Seth all the way!!
ReplyDeleteCan't help it, he's just like... my kind!
