Savor by Kate Evangelista *Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway*

Hello there!
Welcome to my stop in the Blog Tour of Savor by Kate Evangelista.
Today, I have a review to share with you!

Savor (Vicious Feast #1)
Author: Kate Evangelista
Buying links: Amazon/ Book Depository/ B&N
Summary:
Mature and explicit content. Not recommended for readers below 18-years-old. Yup, you’ve got to be that old to read my story. Consider yourself warned.
I’m Dakota Collins, a tough talking, eye patch wearing, workaholic photography student. Why am I important? Well, maybe because I get to spend an entire month with Vicious, only the sickest indie rock band out there.
You see, I needed a subject for my Spring Showcase introspective in order to graduate. During a chance encounter at a club I’d been sent to cover for the Daily Gossip, our ironically named college paper, the features writer I usually teamed up with introduced me to the band—by accident, I might add. It involved a run in with a scary, bald bodyguard. Anyway, long story short, I signed a contract to take pictures of Vicious.
I should have known their handsome yet way too serious for his own good bassist, Luka Visraya, wouldn’t be able to keep his hands to himself. He’s gorgeous and all, but the way he smiles spelled trouble with a capital L. I’m in for a long month with him around.
Crazy shit happens and then some. So, if you want the skinny on Vicious and the events revolving around my stay at Lunar Manor, read my story.
Again, refer to the warning above.

If you put the two things I love the most together: a good story and music. There’s nothing else I can ask.

Kate Evangelista made an awesome job changing the interesting world of Taste into this amazing, sexy and fresh read that was Savor.
To be completely honest, I don’t remember a lot of things about Taste, even though I read it last year.
But I remember Luka, he was my favorite character and I almost jumped of happiness when my friend April @ Books for Juliet talked to me about Savor, Luka’s story.
Savor wasn't what I was expecting it was much better. This book is about art! Photography, music, real inspiration… the way to see the things with new eyes.

Every character of this book was amazing, even those that I already knew.
Since I didn't read the summary when I started reading it, I was blown away with all the discoveries. The plot was great; the writing was fast and simple, so enjoyable.
But if I have to use one word to describe Savor it is “sexy”
Man! This is why I loved Luka so much! He is as gorgeous as the cover itself. He’s a bad sexy boy. I can only compare him with Warner from Shatter me and Seth from The Covenant series.
I’m so glad I had the chance to read this book. This is much better than Taste, the book where I first saw Luke.

Dakota in the other hand was a fabulous main character, her voice was strong, she never was annoying or immature. I loved that she leads the story in that refreshing way.
I loved the Phoenix and Dimitri’s cameos, they were fantastic. I don’t remember them being like this, but I enjoyed every line with them.
I’m not into New Adult fantasy, but Savor worth the chance.
I wish I can tell you more, but I want you to read Savor the way I did. I want you to discover how awesome the story, the characters, the world, and writing style are.
If you like New Adult, this is a book you can’t miss!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When Kate Evangelista was told she had a knack for writing stories, she did the next best thing: entered medical school. After realizing she wasn't going to be the next Doogie Howser, M.D., Kate wandered into the Literature department of her university and never looked back. Today, she is in possession of a piece of paper that says to the world she owns a Literature degree. To make matters worse, she took Master's courses in creative writing. In the end, she realized to be a writer, none of what she had mattered. What really mattered? Writing. Plain and simple, honest to God, sitting in front of her computer, writing. Today, she lives in the Philippines and writes full time.
